  • Chiropractic is a primary health care profession focused on your health and wellbeing.

    The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) states: “Chiropractic is a health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. There is an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal adjustment and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation”.

  • The McTimoney approach to chiropractic was developed by the late John McTimoney over 50 years ago. It is well known for being a precise, whole body approach to chiropractic care.

    The gentle nature of chiropractic the McTimoney way makes it suitable for people throughout their lifetime from babyhood to those in later life.

  • The Activator Method is among the world’s most thoroughly-researched chiropractic techniques. The Activator is the only adjusting instrument with clinical trials that prove its efficacy.

    The Activator is used to apply a quick, measured force to specific areas of the spine or joints, aiming to correct alignment issues and enhance mobility.

  • An adjustment will not typically hurt. Some patients may experience soreness after the first adjustment when we correct misalignments that have been present for months or even years!

  • You can expect to feel physical changes as your body re-aligns - you might feel tired or stiff, for example, particularly after your first session. You will advised about aftercare, exercises and any lifestyle changes that will help you get the most out of your care. It's important to tell us if you are worried about anything during or after any appointment.

  • The number and frequency of appointments depends on a variety of factors including age, general fitness, the extent and duration of the injury/condition, stress and posture, for example. The anticipated number of appointments will be discussed with you before your course of care commences.

  • Whilst our first priority is always to relieve your pain and alleviate symptoms, we believe that health is a life-long journey and so most who complete their initial course of care choose to retain the improvements they’ve made with periodic check-ups, just like we do. Therefore, we'll always discuss an ongoing 'maintenance' course of care with you too - just like getting the regular MOT on your car done!

  • An initial consultation with one of our outstanding clinicians is £110. This is a 45 minute appointment, where your clinician will take a full case history and undertake a full physical assessment. We’ll then invite you back for a second visit (which is included in the initial consultation fee) which is you Report of Findings where your clinician will outline their specific recommendations for your care.

    If you decide to proceed with care with us, you will receive your first full treatment on this visit, which is chargeable.

    Our ongoing treatment fees are £50.

  • A 30 minute massage is £45.

    A 60 minute massage is £80.

  • A 30 minute session is £65.
